Dr Emmanuel ('Manny') Pohl has over 20 years of investment experience, initially as a director and head of research with Davis Borkum Hare in South Africa and Westpac Investment Management prior to joining the Company in 1996 and founding Hyperion Asset Management in 1997.

In 1991, he was a member of the South African delegation to the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in Bangkok.
