Our two senior investment strategists, Peter McManus and John Lockton, will provide an update on the outlook for the global and domestic economies and how they are likely to impact the financial markets with a particular emphasis on the Australian investor. Following on from the market outlook presentation, our seminars highlight and briefly explain Wilson HTM’s top stock picks.
With extensive market experience in a number of major institutions in Australia, Peter and John are uniquely positioned to provide insight and analysis into the outlook and future direction of the economy and the implications for financial markets – particularly the Australian equity market.
Each seminar is unique and focuses on what is current and relevant in Financial Markets.
Presenters:
Peter McManus began his career with the Commonwealth Treasury in Canberra, followed by 5 years at the National Australia Bank before joining Credit Suisse First Boston in 1992 where he held the position of Senior Economist. Peter progressed his career to an Equity Strategist with Credit Suisse First Boston then joined the private client business in 2000. In April 2010 Peter joined the Wilson HTM team where he provides leadership in research and investment strategies to our Advisers and their clients. Peter has a BA Degree (Hons) with a Diploma of Education from Macquarie University and a Master of Economics from ANU.
John Lockton has worked in financial markets for the last 10 years, in both funds management and stockbroking, focusing on investment strategy and stock selection. Prior to working at Wilson HTM, John worked at Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and Credit Suisse First Boston. John holds a Bachelor Economics from Newcastle University and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from Finsia.
